This is a description of the Cricut Create that was forwarded on the yahoo message board. I don't know who wrote it to give them credit but thought it was too good to not share. It will be especially helpful if you are thinking about investing in this little gem. (although I would still wait till January when the Michael's exclusive expires so I could save about a hundred bucks!)
A couple of simple things to start with. It opens like the Expression. Y0u don't have to hit the start key to get the doors to open. Just lift the cover. Next, around the "cut" button are 8 arrows instead of 4. On the far left of the keypad area are 5 Mode buttons that we have only seen on the Expression before. Portrait, Fit To Page, Auto Fill, Center Point, and Flip. The only ones missing from the Expression are Fit To Length and Mix-N-Match.
The speed, Pressure, and size dials are exactly like on the Expression. The sizes go from 1/4 in to 11 3/4 in. because of the portrait feature. The screen shows the speed and pressure in a series of bars like the expression instead of numbers by the dials. As with the Expression when you do FIT TO PAGE it will show you on the screen before it cuts, the size it would be set at if you did it manually. The same with AUTOFILL. It will tell you how many it will be cutting just before it starts to cut.
