Making your Cricut mat sticky again

Oh this is very helpful!

  1. Thanks for sharing this. I have not tried the Zig 2-way glue.

FYI... I used WackyTack previously with great results but my bottle went missing. So I had a bottle of Aileen's Tack-it and thought, "how different could it be from Wacky Tack?". WAY DIFFERENT. It is WAY too sticky and you won't be able to get your paper off of your mat. LOL

  2. Hey Jen, you could always use your Aileen's to make your own glue dots. http://just-a-scrappin.blogspot.com/2008/09/make-your-own-glue-dots.html ~Linda

  3. Awesome idea! I am anxiously awaiting my Cricut Expression to be delivered and plan to use this tip when my mat is no longer sticky. Thanks for sharing!

  4. It also works to take a baby wipe to your mat and rub in a circular motion. This removes all the bits of dust and debris and makes your mat sticky again. Try it, it works!

  7. Thanks for the tip, I'll try it but I'm wondering if I could get the Zig 2-way into a spray bottle for quicker application.

Thinking I could mask the outside edges of the mat with painters tape then do a quick spritz with the glue.

I'll let you know if I end up trying to spray the glue.
