  5. I saw this on the news tonight. If this doesn't stop some people from texting, nothing will!

  6. I hope this opens the eyes of those who text or read and do other things while driving, it's not only teenagers who are the cause, it's all ages. I have seen some stupid things being done. I hope this video gets out to more and they think twice.

  8. As an ER nurse that went into high schools and speaking to kids about seatbelts and drunk driving and binge drinking and sex safety it is all too sad to see their facial faces tell you back thats not me. They think it will never be them, thats the scary part....It should be against the law to use a cell phone in the car in every state I dont know what it hasnt happened yet.

  9. And, THIS is the reason that I do not have texting, emailing, or internet on MY cell phone. My son is 11, and I swear, is the only kid I know without a cell phone. What a shame. This happens more then we know. To adults, too. Thanks for looking out for us, you are the best!

  12. Oh, that is so scary. I am sitting here sobbing because I have been guilty of texting while driving. I will never do it again. What a powerful reminder. Thanks for sharing, Linda.

  13. I'm frozen with fear and grief. I know it is PSA but I know that many families have gone through this in actuality. Every single person with a cell phone should be forced to watch this.

  14. This would wake up a lot of people if they were made to watch this. All cell phones should be banned for drivers. If you need to use the phone poll over. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  15. Thank you for this post!. I have sent it to my daughters and asked they watch it too and pass it on to their close friends. Maybe we who care will help make this problem a thing of the past. I actually lost my PCP recently because she went head on into a car while using her Blackberry, probably to a patient or other colleague.

  16. Actually if you REALLY want to get the point across, then go to this website... truckinroadtrips.com/texting_and_driving.htm

BEWARE! EXTREMELY GRAPHIC AND NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.

I showed this to my 10 year old son and plan on showing it to him every year once he starts driving. Hope I don't offend anyone, but I feel this will make even more of an impression!
