The grape vine is talking...

New Cricut cartridges are headed our way but not in time for Christmas! Looks like they will be released the first of 2010. The cartridges are Dinosaur Tracks, Old West, Pagoda, Paisley and Sweet Treats.

Want to see images? They can be viewed on the Gypsy.

That kind of stinks doesn't it.

  4. Oh man! more. I have 26 so far, and want so many more. I am currently attempting to cut 1 of everything on Plantin SchoolBook. It seems such a basic cart, but it is yielding quite a bit.
I love the Cricut carts they rock, but the Cricut handbooks stink, bad pictures printed in pale colors, especially the pale yellow. Oh come on, they are going to make the eye doctors rich.

  12. I'm really getting annoyed with PC and the release of thier new carts. Some of the new ones you can only get with a new cricut and now these where the artwork is only viewable on the Gypsy! I don't know about you ladies but I don't have that kind of money to spend on a new toy to view them when they won't address the current issues with the Cricut machines and carts.

  13. I pre-ordered a Gypsy in August from an online company. Now M's and HSN get theirs first even though I committed and gave my money much sooner. It doesn't seem right that even though I "will" have a Gypsy, I can't see the images. And, furthermore, everyone should be able to see them so they can plan their purchases. Why or why does PC take one step forward and one back ALL the time. They need someone in C/S who gets that they have an amazing product and if they combined that with amazing C/S they would rule!

  14. well, I may buy the gypsy in the future... but... I have current concerns about the actual cricut technology after trying to craft 45 wedding invitations and having to adapt them for the reliable cuttlebug instead. Basically, the mat has a limited life, the blades have a limited life and the DS software is temperamental and not of an industrial standard. Additionally and aside, I have loads of carts (20 ish) that actually will rarely be used - well, I dare not work out the price per cut. I do hope that the DS software will be enhanced real soon - OK, say, in 2010. Until then I shall not readily buy the gypsy - certainly after your news that the new carts can only be viewed via the gypsy.
