FYI - Makin the Grade cartridge error

If you have been having problems with Cricut Design Studios reading the cartridge Making the Grade here is what you need to do. First you will need to uninstall design studios and then reinstall from this link http://www.cricut.com/cds/Update.aspx . Once you have reinstalled you will need to open the design studios and go to the help tab and update cricut firmware. Make sure you follow those steps exactly. This will resolve this issue. Thank you for your continuing interest in Provo Craft.

Get Organized!

End of the month things to do:

* Turn in any undeveloped rolls of film for processing, upload your digitals for processing, or if you print at home, get it done. Don't let pictures pile up.

* Sort through the embellishments on your workspace. Put like items together, even if they're differnt colors. Toss scraps of ribbon or fiber too small to work with. File stickers and diecuts away. Clean up those pesky little bits that clutter your workspace.

* Finally, sort and file your papers. Toss those smaller than a half sheet in size or use them now to make up a card.

Cricut Gossip

I cannot confirm this but here's what I read over at the Cricut Message Board...

Michael's is supposed to have Cricut cartridges on sale next week for $39.99 and in some locations, they will have both Lyrical Letters and Life's A Beach for that price. Now, I'm pulling this information off the message board so don't hold me to any of this but they are saying that you can even order these cartridges from Michael's this week at the store itself and buy it next week when it comes in for this sale price.

Interesting...all I can say is we'll see because it's just not like Michael's to work with their customers, know what I mean?

*** ADDED NOTE ***

Well dears, it's true. One of my readers called her Michael's and sure 'nuff, they are pulling the two cartridges, putting her name on them and will let her purchase them after the sale starts....will wonders ever cease.

Two New Cricut Cartridges

Ok, so Home Decor isn't really new but it has been a hard to get cartridge and now you can get it AND Jubilee Celebration for only $99...bet that's going to break the Ebay folks hearts that have been selling them for over $100 each!

PC will even throw in a set of Cricut Color Inks if you take advantage of their 3 easy payments BUT now here's the kicker, if you order from PC and do 1 payment of $99 you will get a FREE Cricut Jukebox AND a set of Cricut Color Inks!!! Holy Cow!

Oh and if you're figuring PC is going to whack it to you with postage (speaking from past experiences here), believe it or not the answer is a big nope! I went through the ordering process just to see and did the one time payment...postage was only $7.99. Another gasp from me!

PC is trying really really hard to win the hearts of the people I'd say!

Click HERE to find out how you can get in on this deal.

RE: 5 rows, 6 rows or 7?

Click HERE for the issue and then return and read the solution.

In a statement issued on the Cricut message board, Provocraft CEO Jim Thornton posted the following:

Provo Craft hears you!

I am fully aware that some of you are upset that the artwork on our new “Life Is A Beach” cartridge appears to be ‘missing’ artwork that had been previously used to promote the cartridge. I want to thank all of you that have posted responses and for those of you that have contacted me directly regarding this issue. Please know that I have read every message and am taking your feedback to heart. I have put the entire leadership team here at Provo Craft on notice that resolving this issue is our top priority.

As some of you know, we released preliminary artwork for “Life Is A Beach” last October to some of our online retail partners to promote the launch of the cartridge. That artwork was described at the time as “subject to change” but it appears that that may not have been well understood. When the final cartridge was released, a very small number of images from the preliminary sheet were not included. As you might imagine, we make artistic decisions like this everyday. It is quite common to have more content than we can fit on the cartridge and our team of talented artists, designers and programmers have to frequently decide what to eliminate. They make these decisions carefully with the full intention of giving you the very best cartridge possible.

I completely understand why some of you are so frustrated. The excitement for this cartridge has been huge and nothing is more disappointing than not getting what you think you paid for. It is true that it was communicated that the artwork some of you initially saw was ‘preliminary’. However, I want to make it right with those of you that did not understand this clearly.

If you ordered your cartridge between February 25th and today (April 14th) and you wish to return it, we will give you a full refund of your purchase. Just send us back the cartridge and a copy of your receipt and we will refund you for 100% of your purchase.

Our number one priority at Provo Craft is to make sure that our customers are thoroughly delighted with the experience of using our products. We frankly recognize that we have some work to do in this area. As you might imagine, the customer service complexity of running a technology company is a little different that when we use to sell products like paper and stickers. The demands of training customers on how to use our products and fielding a wide range of questions have stretched our customer service capabilities in ways we have never experienced here at Provo Craft. This, however, is not an excuse to be slow to respond or to become arrogant in our approach. Please know that we will do a better job of listening to you and responding to your needs.

This is critical to us because we know how loyal our customer base is to Cricut and our other brands. It has been great innovation that has earned your loyalty, and we know that it will be great products and a commitment to excellent service that keeps that loyalty.

In another post from Provocraft, a return address and instructions were provided for those wishing a refund and here it is:

Send your cartridge to us at:

Life Is A Beach Cartridge Refund
C/O: Lori Dkhissi
151 E. 3450 N.
Spanish Fork, Ut 84660

Please include your name, address, phone number, and a copy of your receipt.

Ok, so if you are dissatisfied with your purchase of Life's A Beach, purchased it between February 25 and today, you may return it for a full refund.

NOT ME Bud, I'm KEEPIN' MINE but for those of you that it matters to, well then here's your chance to resolve the issue...now can we move on....

Jesus Love You!

Jesus Rose From Death

MATTHEW 28:5-6 NKJ
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be
afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
6 "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the
place where the Lord lay.

Jesus Christ's resurrection is either the supreme fact in
history or a gigantic hoax. If Christ's resurrection is true --
we ignore its implications at our own peril. If not, then
Christianity is the biggest fraud in the history of the world.

Christ's resurrection forces the question of Christianity's
validity from being merely a philosophical issue to being a
historical one.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a fact verifiable from
history. No one can challenge Christ's resurrection -- if they
take an honest look at the evidence.

Only those who never study the evidence -- or who refuse to
listen to its testimony -- could deny the resurrection of Jesus
Christ.

Many learned men have tried to disprove Christ's resurrection --
only to become believers instead!

Some people refuse to examine the evidence, because they do not
want to believe in Jesus Christ and submit to Him as Lord.

The facts remain. Confucius' tomb, Buddha's tomb, Mohammed's
tomb, and Lenin's tomb are all occupied.

But Jesus Christ's tomb is EMPTY!

REVELATION 1:18 NKJ
18 "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive
forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."

SAY THIS: I believe that Jesus Christ rose from death.
