Well that was sure fun. I'm not very good with FaceBook which makes my friends roll their eyes, but I enjoyed just now reading what other have written. I even threw in my two cents worth! I've already told my husband that I want MTC for Christmas OR ELSE! haha! I played with it the other day and had a ball.
Leslie Ann, the conflict between PC and MTC is simply money. PC is a for profit company, they want you to buy cartridges rather than use companies like MTC or SCAL. ~Linda
Linda, please clarify this, if you would. I read on the MTC Tuts group that PC wanted to pull the plug on MTC over something about copying the carts. Do you know? And I also read that despite this, the MTC would still work...of course it would if you have a copy of it on your computer.
It seems to me that PC goes over the top, I remember when they asked you to remove or did it themselves some content on your site.
Biz protection is good, but really...MTC is a great program, more sophisticated and easier to use than DS.
Leslie Ann, Not too long ago, MTC added a feature to their program that allowed you to backup your cartridges. PC didn't like that so the feature was removed. Since then, things have calmed down and everyone seems to be happy. ~Linda
LMcBurney, The Imagine (at this time) does not connect to your computer so no secondary programs will work with it. (Provocraft's effort to knock out the competition). ~Linda
Sure wish they'd work on a Mac version.

ReplyDeletemahuntington, Go ahead and splurge, you'll be glad you did! ~Linda
ReplyDeleteI've played with it and think it's great. What is the deal with PC and MTC? Some sort of furor? That's what's holding me back.
