Cricut Imagine - Official Update Announcement

CricutSync 2.0.2.7 is now available. This version should correct all 64 bit computer problems. It will uninstall your old drivers and install new drivers for you. Go to the following site:

http://www.cricut.com/imagine/support.aspx

There are new instructions on this page for updating the Cricut Sync software. Please be sure to follow the directions on the screen prompts exactly.

If your Imagine firmware is currently 95 then you can now update to 96, which fixes the relative size issue.

Also Content Update 0013 is now available. If you had the ???? then this will fix it. It will also add the new Smiley cartridge to your Imagine library. All current cartridge content should now be available for use.

When doing the content update, if it does not work the first time then you will need to do a system restore. I had to do this on one machine because of the way it was configured. System restore will fix this.

  1. Linda is the 2.0.2.7 for the imagine? I updated my gypsy to cricutsync but my version 1.4. I have all the updates and the new carts. I'm just confused with this new number.

  3. I had problems with the Gypsy Sync software and my G would not work except for the photo app. I did the new cricut sync for my G and now it works again and the free cartride downloads are on there but all the previous cartridges I had on the G are no longer highlighted. Can this be fixed without downloading them all again?

  4. I had a problem with the Gypsy Sync software and after I did the G sync only the photo app would work. Nothing happened when I tapped the cricut icon on the G. I downloaded the cricut sync software and updated my G and now it works but only the free downloads are highlighted. None of the previous cartrides I had stored on there are highlighted. Do I have to download all of them again??

  6. A friend of mine was told to uninstall her Gypsy Sync from her computer and to download the Cricut Sync to update her Gypsy. BUT since I didn't hear that from the Cricut directly I did NOT do it. She just used that to update her Gypsy last night and had no issues, and she can see all the new carts up to the newest Holiday ones. Those are not visible to her. Have you heard anything about this Linda???

  8. Help! I got the Cricut Imagine for Christmas. I haven't yet been able to use it. There was no ink in my box so I had to wait until they shipped it. Now I have it but I can't put it in the cartridge slots. The cartridge carrier does nothing but sit there. There is no way I can insert the ink. The machine turns on but that's about it. It says on the home screen that says "Cricut Imagine. Print, Cut,..." Any suggestions?
