Cricut Imagine Paper and A Punch

Cricut Imagine owners bought out all the white cardstock that HSN had so I thought I'd pass on this information in case you are one of the ones that is searching for a new source. I took the pictures below at Walmart. This is Colorbok Textured Cardstock, 40 sheets for $5. Not bad.

And then while there I noticed that they have several of the Martha Stewart punches marked down. This one was marked $11 but rang up for $3....and to think, this Drippy Goo border punch was selling on Ebay just last year for around $70. =\

Our winners are...

Vicki Morris, her comment was...That would be an awesome package to get. I was thinking of something for a young teen, something like this http://parentingteens.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=parentingteens&cdn=parenting&tm=12&f=10&tt=14&bt=0&bts=1&zu=http%3A//www.wittyliving.com/crafts/scrapbooking/layouts/make_minialbum.html It's a mini album for pictures of friends.

Ryansmaama, her comment was...What great fun. I would like to see some Christmas projects.

and

Ivette...her comment was How about a really cool Spongebob or Batman related 3D scene, or a cool zoo scene with all the animals again in 3D. Make your own grass by cutting out tiny slivers of different shades of greens and then just place them wherever you like with glue dots. The upcoming holidays are good, but you want to make something that can be used throughout the year, not just limited to a particular holiday. Also, not everyone celebrate the same holiday, or a holiday at all. I'd gladly help you with further insight if you like. Just email me privately. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS LADIES. A rep from Elmer's will be contacting you soon.

Imagine That!

Well I made it ya'll. I did NOT buy the Imagine from HSN. I am making myself wait till the price comes down but it is so hard!! I want one really really bad! UGH!! How'd you guys do? Did you cave? Share your thoughts in the comments below if you like.

Cricut IMAGINE Cheat Sheets

With the release of the Imagine, I figured I better get myself in gear and start working on the Imagine Cheat Sheets! So now, yay, they are done! The great thing about this list is that it's not a spreadsheet, instead it's pictures AND the pages are not numbered so you can download/print only the sheets with the cartridges that you own (or would like to own). Each page gives you the title of the cartridge along with the type of cartridge (colors & patterns or art), a picture and description. You can download a copy HERE if you like.

BTW, as you guys know, some of the individual cartridge sheets I share here on the blog, but the master cheats I prefer that you join the Cricut Cheat Sheet Yahoo group to get. By joining the group, you will get updates as they become available. Click HERE to join the group.

I do hope that you find them useful. =)

9/11...in memory of those whos lives were changed forever...

This video was made by my daughter-in-love's uncle. I post it today as a reminder and in hopes that none of us...ever forgets...

On September 11, 2001 I was asked to make a video of the events of that tragic week to be used at church the following Sunday. The clips were captured on various news outlets and set to the song "Lord, Have Mercy." I post it now as a reminder that we should never forget what happened that week. We need God's mercy now just as we did then. ~Jerald Hill

Let the Price Wars Begin

The Cricut Imagine will be released in just a few days on September 14th at 12:01 EST on the HSN channel with a price reduction from the previously announced $599.

The new HSN price will be $499.99. They are offering 5 flex pays of $99.99 each and no shipping. It comes with 3 Imagine cartridges: Imagine MORE, Imagine BEST FRIENDS and Imagine NURSERY TAILS, 1 full Black Ink, 1 full Color Ink, 1 12x12 sheet of printable vinyl, Stylus, Power Cords, User manual and a DVD.

Online scrapbook stores are also gearing up for the release. I noticed that Memory Miser is already taking orders with a shipping to them date around October 12th and a price of $489.99. Click HERE for details.

I'm so tempted ya'll but I'm going to stay strong because I am convinced that before it's over the price will come down to around the price of the Expression. I can do this...I know I can...really...I can.
