New Cricut Cartridges, New Imagine Cartridges and New Martha, OH MY

Back on December 23rd I posted a sneak peak of 3 new Cricut cartridges that Joanns oops'ed and posted (click HERE to see that post), they were Formal Occasion, All Sports and Florals Embellished. Well now almost a month later Provocraft has officially released them along with 3 new Imagine Cartridges and a total of 7 new Cricut cartridges. They are All Sports, Baby Steps, Campin' Critters, Florals Embellished, Formal Occasion, Kate's ABCs and Martha Stewart Birthday Cakes and the 3 Imagine cartridges are Bubblegum Stripes (colors and pattern), Buccaneer (art) and All Wrapped Up (Art). Check them out below.

So what do you think guys? Love or don't care for the new ones? Duplicate's? Still anything out there that you'd like to see in a cartridge? For me it's cartridge overload. haha I kinda miss the excitement of when we got only a cartridge here and there. =]

Oh well. Off to work I go. Later peeps.

  1. It's all so cutesy and lots of duplicating here. The floral is nice but I don't really need it. The sports is the same sports only not as good. They should have focus on wrestling, track, XC, Scholastic Bowl, Drama, Chorus. All the other things kids are involved in at school. And they are totally missing out on the whole "Tim Holtz" flavored artists.

  2. I think their attempt at the Tim Holtz look was Fabulous Finds and it just didn't do so great (although I did buy it and still have it). Look for it if you don't have it already as it has some nice stuff on it. ~Linda

  4. I want you to know how much I appreciate you keeping us informed on what is going on in the Cricut world! I don't comment, but I do read your posts and I just wanted to tell you so. Thanks so much for what you do for us!!

  5. I love your blog and truly appreciate all the "keeping up to date" you do for us! My opinion is much like yours...too much, too often! I have looked back through all my carts and have decided it would take something spectacular to get me to purchase any more carts. With my Gypsy and Make the Cut I can create pretty much anything all the new carts are doing! It will be saving me some money!! LOL!

  6. I TOTALLY agree with you.... overload. I miss the days when they released a couple a year and you got really excited about the new releases. But now, you can't even keep up. They release them so fast.

  7. Several of these are referred to as "Cricut Circle"... does that mean they won't be available to those of us who did not join the Circle?
    Thanks for keeping us up-to-date...

  8. Thanks for linking the handbooks!! They making deciding which ones I may possibly have to have; there a few here I'd like to get...I've learned to be patient and wait a bit so I'm not paying out the rear for them all. :)

  9. Looks like alot of the same. Wish they would include Archery in the sports cartridge. Specifically GIRLS archery, and not just a recurve but a compound bow as well. (Not sure if they know the difference.) Love the fact you keep us so up-to-date with all the pics & handbooks. Thanks for all you do, it is very much appreciated. I, too, wish they would slow down, maybe release 1-3 once a quarter or something???

  10. I noticed that Joann's already has these listed. Go to joann.com, type Cricut into the search box then use the pull down menu to select New Products. They are $39 till Jan 27th.

  11. Ann, Yes that is what it means however where there is a will there is a way. If you see one that you can't live without (yet to happen to me), you will be able to get it off Ebay or just make you a Circle friend and have them order it for you. OR just buy Make The Cut and make for yourself whatever cut it is that you are needing. Not all of us can afford to join the Circle so we do what we have to do. ;) ~Linda

  14. Thanks for keeping us updated! Looks like for plain ol' run of the mill Expression users who don't have the resources to become a Circle Club member, there are only 2 new carts: Baby and Girlie. As they move forward with the Imagine and updates to the Gypsy, I guess this is what we Expression users can expect.

  15. Donna, I've thought the same thing. It's sad really. PC has a huge following now so I guess they don't need us poor folk anymore. =(

  16. I bought two of the following cartridges this week at Micheal's (Virginia), the Floral Embellish, Formal Occasions and they also had All sports. We have 6 Mic's in the area and I visited 3 and thay all had ""one"" of each. They also had two of last months new releases, again only one of each. I would guess no one bought them up till this point because they did not have the cards on the wall. I always check the cage first. They never keep up with the cards on the wall.

  17. Barry, those are supposedly exclusive to the Cricut Circle. Hmmmm, that's interesting and you know, I thought it funny that they are listed on the Joann's website too. I wonder what that's all about. =]

  18. Linda, I think it is in the way that they are phrasing the statement. The Thursday notice e-mail said. . . Available in January (available now for Cricut Circle Members). . . If you read between the lines it might be saying . . available NOW to CCM's,(throught some special means) and available sometime in January to everyone else. Almost like a early release to CCM. There was the same type confussion in Decembers releases. Pack your Bags and Life's a Party were listed as . . .also available at Hobby Lobby and A.C.Moore. . . it didn't say Exclusive to HL/ACM, so what does . . also available MEAN! Pack your Bags was another one I bought in January at Mic's.

  20. Yup they must have been an early release for the CCM members as I saw them all in both Michaels and AC Moore today...just won't pay the $45, will wait for Memory Miser to have them cheap in a few months!
