Using Lettering Delights SVG Files

Wondering how to use Lettering Delights new SVG's? Although, SVG's can be viewed by some of the modern browsers, like Firefox and Safari. As a scalable vector graphic, they can be sized, manipulated, recolored and edited to your heart's desire. They do require a specific program in order to do these things. The most well-known program is Adobe Illustrator. Corel Paint Shop Pro and Microsoft Visio also work, but if you don't want to shell out the cash, a FREE alternative is Inkscape! Click HERE for a simple tutorial to show you the all the Inkscape basics.

Now if you're using Make The Cut then you can skip the Inkscape as far as .svg files go. Simply open them in Make The Cut and cut. Whoohoo! Click HERE to check out Lettering Delights .svg files that can be easily used with Make The Cut and then if you still don't have Make The Cut, then click HERE to check it out.

  1. Hey Linda
Thanks so much for all the info you shared on MTC. I needed a curling rock for my DH's upcoming surprise party invite etc. So I took a chance, purchased MTC and then searched for an online graphic of a curling rock and presto in less than 10 minutes I have a cricut cut file all separated into layers! It was soooo easy

  2. And the cool thing is you didn't have to buy a whole cartridge for that one cut. =D
